SECTION-A
1. Describe the steps involved in the activation, transportation, and oxidation of fatty acids.
2. Explain the major components of nucleotides with chemical structure in DNA. What are the different types of RNA found in living organisms?
3. How is the nomenclature and classification of enzymes done by the enzyme commission?
4. Define vitamins. Write the structure and functions of fat-soluble vitamins.
5. What are secondary metabolites and how is it different from primary metabolites? Also describe its role in plants.
6. What are the differences between DNA and RNA? Diagrammatically describe the double helical model of DNA.
7. Define Michaelis constant with graphical representation. Also derive the mathematical formula of Michaelis-Menten equations.
