The word Arunachal is composed of two words 'Arun' and 'Achal'. where 'Arun' means Sun and 'Achal' means mountain. That is why Arunachal Pradesh is also called the land of the rising sun.
Local (Geographical):
Arunachal Pradesh is in the northeastern part of India, in the trans-Himalayan region. It is covered by the famous international demarcation line that marks the border between India and Tibet. Arunachal Pradesh has an international border of 1628 km, which is bordered by Bhutan, China, and Myanmar. and has an inter-state boundary with Assam and Nagaland. The total area of Arunachal is 83,743 sq km.
